About the fund

The main objective of the fund is to invest in expanding medium sized businesses located in the Indian sub-continent with the intention to earn superior returns on investment over a holding period of 3 – 5 years. The size of investment is to be in the range of USD 3.0 – 5.0 million. The typical portfolio company will be a medium-sized manufacturer or service provider with sound management, a sustainable business model and competitive advantage. Emphasis will be given to expansion financing of established companies that have proven business models and have an earnings track record of at least 3 – 4 years. The fund focuses on high growth sectors with global competencies and addressing booming domestic markets like pharma & life sciences, manufacturing/engineering, IT & IT enabled services, telecom and entertainment. 

The Mauritius-domiciled fund is a self-managed structure and advised by BTS Investment Advisors, an independent investment advisor specializing on India since the mid-1990s.
