SIFEM’s NEW PORTFOLIO MANAGER RESPONSABILITY COMMENCING 1 MARCH 2023

The Board of SIFEM has decided, based on the result of an open procurement procedure conducted in conformity with Swiss legislation, to award the management of the SIFEM portfolio to responsAbility Investments AG. The mandate starts on 1st March 2023 and will last for five years, with the option to extend it for five more years. Obviam AG continues to act as portfolio manager ad interim until end of February 2023 and will collaborate closely with responsAbility for the hand-over of the mandate.

 

The Board is grateful to Obviam AG and all its staff for the excellent collaboration and the achievement of positive financial and impact results since SIFEM’s founding in 2011.

With the onboarding of responsAbility Investments AG as of March 2023, SIFEM will operate in a new set-up. While responsAbility will act as its portfolio manager and be responsible for investment sourcing, advisory, and oversight, Tameo Impact Fund Solutions SA is the business services manager and assumes responsibility for policy-related and representative functions, portfolio oversight, ESG & impact reporting, risk & compliance, and communication & administration. This setup ensures good governance, efficient and effective operations, and the leverage of existing expertise and track record.

The SIFEM Board looks forward to working with the new partners over the coming years.
