European Financing Partners (EFP) - COVID-19 Window
European Financing Partners (EFP), a joint venture between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and several European Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), is a co-financing instrument established in 2003 aiming at promoting sustainable development of the private sector and strengthening co-operation between eligible European Development Finance Institutions and the EIB. EFP provides private sector financing to countries included in the OECD DAC list. The DAC List of ODA Recipients shows all countries and territories eligible to receive official development assistance (ODA). The EFP is a risk-sharing facility providing up to 75% of the combined financing to projects proposed by any EDFI Member who is an EFP shareholder.
SIFEM has already been a committing party of EFP II, EFP III and EFP IV.
