Vietnam Investments Fund I

The Vietnam Investments Fund I is a generalist private equity fund investing in Vietnam. It was launched in 2007 with private investors.

VIF I is a private equity fund targeting medium-sized companies in Vietnam. The fund finances companies in a variety of sectors, with some concentration in manufacturing and exports, as well as companies catering to local consumption. Areas of focus for the fund are local consumption, logistics/service providers, media/advertising and non-bank financial institutions. Target deal size is USD 2.0 - 10.0 million. The fund's strategy does not distinguish between purely private companies and those that were state-owned. 

VIF I is managed by Vietnam Partners, a first-time fund manager.
