Evolution One focuses on deploying clean technologies across the environment goods and services sector in Southern Africa, making both technology and infrastructure-related investments in the form of equity and equity related instruments. Evolution One invests predominantly in businesses and projects in their expansion stage, with some early stage and start-up investments, and to a lesser extent later stage buy-outs. It focuses on climate change-related investments in clean energy and energy efficiency, augmented by a broader investment mandate across select industry focus areas within the environmental goods and services sectors and sub-sectors.
Inspired Evolution Investment Management (IEIM) is the manager of Evolution One, and comprises of principals from Pan-African Capital Holdings, Alluvia Group, Consensus Business Group and Capital Evolution, operating out of South Africa and with offices in London. IEIM is a black empowered company in accordance with South Africa’s BEE guidelines.
