SIFEM is pleased to announce a USD 20 million commitment to Excelsior Capital Vietnam Partners II, a closed-end private equity fund providing growth capital to mid-sized companies in Vietnam. The fund is managed by a local team in Ho Chi Minh City in partnership with Excelsior Capital Asia and will focus on businesses in the healthcare, consumer, education, and technology sectors.

Excelsior II will contribute to the creation and support of quality jobs, promote women’s participation in the formal economy, and benefit from opportunities created by the expansion of Vietnam’s middle class, underpinned by the country’s resilient economy, political reform and proactive business policies. As a fund aligned with the 2X Challenge framework, Excelsior II is committed to enhancing opportunities for women in Vietnam’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This marks SIFEM’s second investment with Excelsior Capital Vietnam Partners, building on an established relationship and shared commitment to fostering sustainable private sector growth in Vietnam.
