The 2X Challenge was launched by the Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) from the G7 countries as a commitment to mobilise a total of USD 3 billion by 2020 for women’s economic empowerment globally. The initiative will unlock resources that will help advance women in emerging markets as entrepreneurs, as business leaders, as employees and as consumers of products and services that enhance their economic participation.
