The Swiss Parliament unanimously adopted the Federal Act on the Development Finance Corporation SIFEM in its summer session 2024.
With this new act, the existing regulations at the level of ordinance will be transformed into law. Jörg Frieden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIFEM, commented: “We are very pleased with this clear result: it represents trust and support for our activities.” The law is expected to come into force on 1 January 2025.
